Ellison: Director of Bands
Charles Richter: Associate Director
Mr. Richter is the associate band director at Alief Taylor
High School in Houston, Texas. He currently conducts the Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble and the State Champion Alief Taylor Drumline. Mr. Richter is in charge of all brass and percussion studies at the school. He has studied music at Brazosport College, The University of North Texas, and obtained his Bachelor of Music degree from Southwest Texas State University. In addition to being a band director, he is also a professional marching band drill designer. Mr. Richter has designed contest shows for high school bands across Texas and the United States. He is currently the visual director of Imperial Percussion Theater in Houston, Texas.
